The mission of KlinBiS is to ensure the strong and sustainable integration of biostatistics with the clinical sciences, to establish clinical biostatistics across the dimensions of education, research and practice, and to lead efforts to make clinical biostatistics education a core and sustainable component of medical specialty training. Accordingly, KlinBiS aims to lead the development of education, competency and quality models that enable physicians engaged in research to distinguish between clinical data and research data; manage research data in accordance with scientific standards; correctly and effectively use clinical biostatistical methods suited to the research question and data structure; plan and conduct research scientifically; critically appraise scientific publications; accurately interpret the quality and strength of evidence; and translate the resulting scientific evidence into clinical decision-making.

The vision of KlinBiS is to become Türkiye's independent, trusted and internationally aligned scientific reference organisation for clinical biostatistics; to strengthen the role of clinical biostatistics in medical education, clinical research and clinical decision-making; to lead the development of national standards for education, competency, qualification and accreditation; to advance scientific and professional quality; and to strengthen Türkiye's clinical research capacity at both national and international levels.
